In 1988, the city of Glasgow hosted a Garden Festival that went a long way to eradicating its 'no mean city' image. It was also the year in which a serial killer stalked the city, killing six people, with the final victim being the detective in charge of the investigation. Each of the victims was found displayed in one of the city's public parks, the killer having selected a passage from the Bible to leave with his victims as a macabre calling card.
