Each quiet moment you take in Lent can be an opportunity to do the same thing - to spend time with God, to remain in His presence and to discover what He wants for you in your life.

1 Corinthians 12.4-7 Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of services, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who activates all of them in everyone. To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.

As God exposes our inner conceits of our closed minds, he is with us and becomes no longer remote and distant. God draws close to us and reveals himself as our rock, refuge and strength.

Psalm 46 v 1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;

May today there be peace within. May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be. May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith. May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you.
