After a storm shipwrecks Dorothy and her chicken Billina, they find themselves in a new strange land where the adventures continue.

Dorothy, who we have not heard from since The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, is brought to life again to warm the hearts of readers everywhere. Once again we are inspired by her bravery and her innocence. In book three of the series, Ozma of Oz, Baum sets the stage as the story continues in new foreign lands full of mysteries, dangers and excitement.
