Description
1941. A British spy sabotages a Nazi weapons facility - only to discover a new plot to destroy Britain.
Major Danny Nash of British Intelligence thought that blowing up the supply train to Wolfsberg would delay Germany's secret weapons programme - but nothing in war is ever that simple.
There's a clandestine meeting between Nazi industrialists and the Soviets in Iran. Deadly secrets are about to change hands. A Russian spy of the old guard offers Nash a way in, but there's a catch - he must send Emily Sinclair, daughter of the head of British Intelligence.
Nash follows her to the deserts of Iran. A brutal SS officer hires a Persian assassin from an ancient order of swordsmen to capture her. Emily is in danger from the present and her past. Can the old Soviet be trusted?
It all looks like a double cross, and as alliances fracture, Nash must decide: save Emily, or stop the annihilation of Britain?
This is the second Danny Nash thriller by Richard Handy. Cleverly written with exotic locations in the Middle East, this book will appeal to fans of historical thrillers or wartime action adventures. The Wolfsberg Deception is for you if like reading novels by Robert Harris (Fatherland, Munich, V2), Simon Scarrow (Blackout), or Clive Cussler.
This is what readers have been saying about his first Danny Nash adventure, The Reich Device:
'A rollicking spy thriller... '
'Driven by terrifically paced and visceral action, it is a compelling and stylish read... '
'Handy is a formidably capable action writer... '
'A roller coaster ride of tension... '
'The twists and turns of the plot kept me hooked all the way to the end.'
'A real page turner... cleverly written.'
