This conception of Abraham did not come from the King James Bible. I don't know where they got it. Abraham was a bad ass. Yes he lived in a tent. He also had a standing army and lots of servants. Abraham was one of the, if not the, coolest humans, save for Jesus of course, in the bible. Every man can only hope to be more like Abraham. The story of Abraham tells us the exact kind of person God wants us to be, the Abraham kind. Read the bible and believe what you read.
