This is a HFN standalone, 18+ RH novel, which means our leading lady doesn't need to choose between her love interests. It is set in the same universe as my Rise of the Sphinx completed series, so while you absolutely do NOT need to read those to enjoy this book, it might add to the enjoyment of character cameos and lend a bit more to the world building if you choose to start there.
*It will end as 'Happy For Now', which means it will wrap things up for our characters' story while still leaving a bit of mystery to bigger world problems. There will be one more book in this universe following a different group resolving the larger arc we get teased with at the end of Obsessed and Syn's Desires, but no cliffhanger; just a bit of mystery.
