Eve LaTourneau is on assignment in Africa where she has been reporting on poaching in Zimbabwe.

Although Eve has sworn off men and is focusing on her career as an investigative reporter, there is something about the no-nonsense hard-working older man, Graeme Van der Merwe, who runs the compound she is staying at, a man old enough to be her father.
