Maisy Walters finds a young woman passed out in a ditch next to a sunflower field. She can scarcely believe her eyes when she sees this woman's resemblance to her friend who went missing twenty-four years earlier. However, the lady lying unconscious is around the same age Maisy's friend was when she vanished.
