Description
"As humans we have a long history of failing to deal effectively with suffering. Our memory keeps old incidents fresh and chain us in pain for far too long. Sanhita's poems use words to glide through those chains, always leading to a lighter feeling and pain resolution.
Using a simple construct of Awareness, Acceptance and Allowance, she firmly holds your hand and guides you towards a more hopeful tomorrow. Hope is an underestimated ingredient in the pain recovery process. Sanhita's genius is that she uses her poetry not just to inject such hope but also to bring a freshness to a deeply familiar healing process.
Her poetry wins you over and leaves you wondering why the clarity of her words had not touched you earlier."
- Dr. Aditya Save, Growth Coach and Investor
This is the third book of poetry by the author after The Art of Grieving (2017) and The Art of Letting Go (2018).
The book is divided into three chapters with poetry and prose describing the three phases of healing - Awareness, Acceptance and Allowance, to be read in that particular order.
UK Poet (BloodAxe Books) Clare Shaw's review on the author's poetry from the previous book - "It's a book that embraces all emotions, and the joy of expressing them in the act of writing. Throughout the book, what shines brightest is a genuine, generous and inspirational faith in the act of reading and writing, how it carries us through the hardest times, how close it is to love."
