He has a story that he has uncovered in Venezuela, but he needs an investigative reporter to help him reveal the truth and bring the story back to the world. Eve joins his mission, but is annoyed by his ego and arrogance, although entranced by his good looks and surprising moments of kindness. Her emotions are in a turmoil.

She is a strong woman who is not in any commitments and she speaks both English and French, allowing her to travel and get along well in many international destinations.
