Jarred Archer's skillset, and unique abilities, had allowed him to do just that. It wasn't a glamorous life, but he wasn't interested in notoriety or prestige. He just wanted to make his own way. A man with no past, one he had given up on trying to reclaim, his priorities were for his own survival... and keeping his memories where they belonged. Buried in the dark recesses of his mind. Confronted with a choice, Jarred gives aid to a pair of refugees, along with another strange being named Orna, who seems to have knowledge of him, his lost past and possibly his future, and he is pulled unwillingly into a conflict that will turn not only his own world upside down, but ultimately may decide the fate of every free being in the system.
With the tyrannical Sect Dominion hunting him now, bent on capturing Orna, Jarred will be forced to make another choice. To follow his instincts and walk away, or listen to his conscience and do what he knows is right, and in doing so, force himself to confront more than just his own mysterious origin. He will have to embark on a journey of self awakening and face a destiny he neither believes in, nor is ready to accept.
