Description

Oliver Twist
A story of an orphaned boy in 1800's London, Oliver Twist describes the lives of the poor in the ages of unjustness and crime. The events young Oliver lives through is a collection of trials the poor had to stand; heartless bandits, young thieves, the so-called noble men of wealth squeezing the blood out of the commonner's veins. There seems to be no place for the lonely boy lost in the foggy streets of London, but love and warmth finds him nevertheless the relentless grasps of darkness, trying to get Oliver under its wings. This beautiful classic by none other than Charles Dickens still gives us heartwarming joy and deep empression in our minds.

Charles Dickens is the the author of countless immortal classics. The world he saw in the grimy streets, the eyes of the poverty, the silken-gloved hands of the rich hiding their violence behind their gold is fiercely written directly and explicitly in ink and page; to be recorded and remembered by men of later days, to let know the men of then to not lose hope, to remember the unjustness of it all them that bore upon them from birth.
Dickens was one of the unjustly laboured children of the 18's himself since he had been twleve; working ten hours a day in a shoe polish factory and receiving only 6 shillings, he led a hard life until he started publishing short works in magazines, newspapers, and slowly beginning to earn his place in the world of literature. His experiences as a child are thought to have hugely influenced his writings. Proving that a pen is more powerful than a weapon, he helped putting a stop to the inhuman festivities of open executings. His words provoke people to think deeply into their minds; back when the streets were full of starving men and bloodied guillotines, hangers' ropes, his works would have been shockingly empressing. The ability to see through the unjustness of it all, the ability to discern widely accepted violence itself is why Charles Dickens is remembered to be one of the greatest authors of all time. Tasteful wordplay and sarcasm that pierces the caste system of the rich and the poor, the ability to realize the sanctimonious violence of the highnesses; these are the main themes in his books, and as well as deepness his works are surprisingly full of humanness, joy and laughter also. The well-balanced, beautifully narrated and sarcastically described books of his portray the days of his life, straight from the voices of the ones who lived those ages. A writer whose books do not age, he had been a true author.
