Darryl Harris has been the lead detective following this serial killer for the past six years. He has to figure out if the Cocoa Beach Killer has resurfaced, or if another murderer is on the prowl in his small Florida beach town.

She was found unconscious at the scene before being rushed to the hospital. The detective is torn between staying at the hospital to be by Mel's side or finding his missing person before another dead body is discovered.
