Description
In the English town of Woodford a money laundering scam infiltrates the auction house belonging to Paul Black.
The police lock him out of his own auction house and he is unable to work, causing tremendous distress to him not least because all the notes and contact details for his upcoming wedding to Jennifer Isaac are in there! This would be Paul's third marriage, and he is desperate not to mess things up. He is also involved in the organisation of the next running event for Woodford Streakers Wearing Clothes, and the club's Start and Finish banners are all locked in the building, along with the race t-shirts and other merchandise. Paul has never been so stressed in his life!
Jennifer is unaware of the drama surrounding the wedding plans, and tries to keep Paul's spirits up by involving him in the next Brackenshire HOOFING equestrian TREC training event, and the competition later in the year. Usually Paul would claim not to have time to help, but he has more time on his hands than he knows what to do with, and gets stuck in with setting up obstacles and judging.
The majority of Woodford people rally round, and do what they can to get Black's Auction House back in business, but clues are difficult to find.
A murder stops everyone in their tracks, and combines the worlds of antiques, horses and running. How are they all connected, and is Paul Black guilty?
