When Baker Mayfield was drafted with the first overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns, the first words heard out of every expert and Browns' fan's mouth was, "Here we go again."

It's not that Baker Mayfield didn't have talent or promise. If it were any other team he was drafted by, the optimism would be high. He did have some concerns about his size, which left some wonder if he should be drafted first overall, but there was no doubting his overall skill.

And there was also his ability to lead and win games. However, it was simply the fact he was going to the Browns. The pressure mounted. Not since Bernie Kosar some 30 years ago did Cleveland have a quarterback they could depend upon to give them a chance at a Super Bowl.

The graveyard of Browns quarterbacks who have flamed out is enough to fill up a couple of pages. Among the list includes first-round picks Johnny Manziel, Tim Couch, and Brady Quinn.
