Our world is reeling and in the dark. It's getting harder to see well. Many of us are disoriented by the fog of so much fear, uncertainty, anger, and anxiety. We're numb and disoriented from our addiction to technology and feel helplessly captive to hectic schedules. Our joy feels like a lost cause. Our wonder is waning. Sadly, many Christians it seems have these same eyes. Eyes that are indiscernible to everyone else's.Why is that?As Christians, our eyes should look differently at the things in the world -- the things we look to and make sense of for our hope, identity, and comfort. Our eyes should also appear differently to others as we continually encounter God's beauty, goodness, nearness, and truth around us -- even in difficult things.
Christians should be known for our eyes -- and the way they shine.
