Description
The federal government is building a dam. And Donald Dixon is building a bomb. It's Summer 1991 in the small north Georgia town of Haynesville. Residents in the path of the new lake, or "flood zone," have all been relocated to higher ground - except for Donald, who refuses to leave his ancestral farm home.
When a teenage bootlegger stumbles upon Donald's diabolical scheme, he pairs up with an opioid-addicted federal government employee to try and stop it. While the three men find themselves at violent odds, each shares a dark past that ties them together.
Frank Reddy is the author of the 2016 novel, Eyes on the Island, a critically-acclaimed Southern Gothic thriller that garnered praise from The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Creative Loafing and numerous online critics. He lives in Atlanta, Ga., with his young daughter and son.
