Description
The year is 1995. Hugo Duchamp's life is in turmoil. Bullied at school, abandoned by his parents and living in the attic belonging to his rigid grandmother, the future appears bleak. And then everything changes. Over a long hot summer, for the first time, Hugo falls in love with both a person and what will become the other passion in his life, the righting of wrongs. But it comes at a price and he finds himself in mortal danger. He must fight for his survival and for those he loves.
The first in a trilogy of prequels to the 'Hugo Duchamp Investigates' series of books.
