Description
Greece is the Word !
It's August 1990 as cousins Ruby and Adeline ditch the relentless Manchester drizzle in search of sun, sea and soul-soothing escape.
Greece is the word on everyone's lips, and the party resort of Laganas on the island of Zante beckons as young party goers descend in their droves.
Independent traveller Ruby convinces her more cautious cousin that they will find accommodation on arrival. But plans unravel when they land at 4 am, just as the airport is closing. With nowhere to go, their only option is to wait on the beach until sunrise.
As word spreads around the island, whispers ripple and rumours take hold: two tourist women have endangered the sacred Chelona turtles. Resentment simmers. Old rivalries awaken, and a long-buried feud between two men resurfaces.
Oblivious to the brewing storm, Ruby and Adeline arrive in the party capital, unaware of the eyes tracking their every move. Some seek to harm them.
Others to shield them.
What begins as a carefree holiday spirals into a reckoning - forcing each woman to confront her choices and redefine her life.
Will peace prevail between tourists and islanders?
Or will an unsuspecting man ignite a chain of events far darker than anyone imagined?
There's Definitely Something about Zante.
