Description
What happens when you get a group of male poets together and ask them to write about being men?
Well, aside from some creative differences and a little collateral damage, you get a great collection of poetry. Where one man reflects on the consequences of his parents' taste in music, another reflects on what lurks in the dark recesses of his father's dressing gown; what one man considers the axis of his world, the next considers a friction brake; and so on and so forth.
But above all else, you get a refreshing degree of honesty. No one can ever be entirely free of self-delusion, of course, but in the thirty five pieces contained herein, you won't find a great deal of it. Just a group of men cracking open the lid and letting in a little air and light.
