Another great story in the Newport Vampire Stories Series this was another great entry in the Newport Vampire Stories series, it had what I was hoping for in a vampire novel. The characters were interesting and I enjoyed them enough that I would read another book with them. - Kathryn

DESCRIPTION:

Darius went a bit too far in his control and manipulation of Ciara. She is now exhibiting signs of her own obsessions and her family members are asking too many questions.

Dr. Liliana Rodriguez is running a blood study at the local medical teaching hospital. Against her better judgement, she gave Darius a shot of the blood serum. Darius begins to change in ways he never expected. He swears he can feel the return of his human feelings.

He wants to feel loved by Ciara, but knows he must release her from his possession as she must be free to return his love. He is too fearful that she is only with him because of his vampiric power and possession over her.

Will Darius get the chance to let go of her, or will her meddling parents ruin things for them? Will he be able to let go and set her free? And will her freedom awaken her to only fear of him? Or will she realize she is truly in love with Darius?
