Book 1- Booked for Murder
Since when was solving murders on her resume? Maisie Swenson takes over as manager at Florida's elite Oceanside hotel, thrilled to move on site, catering to the crazy whims of some of the richest people in America with help from her Momma and their basset hound, Bingo. She has her work cut out for her. Make it snow in Florida--check. Helicopter wedding--check. Deliver a baby--check. Dealing with the death of business mogul Norman Olsen... not so check. Looks like he had some dangerous enemies - including his own wife and son. When the murderer targets the hotel again, Maisie thinks the worst of her worries is getting fired. Book 2- Deadly Reservation
When Maisie Swenson stumbles onto the site of an ancient church steeped in pirate folklore, she's thrilled to explore it. She never expects to find a young woman lying in the churches yard clutching flowers like a real live Snow White. And just like the cartoon Snow White, this woman cannot be awakened.
As Maisie tries to puzzle through that situation, one of her guests is found in a coma, too. Only this one is mysteriously clutching a necklace.
Can she ever sort through all the crazy clues to find where the pirate and ghost stories end and a real life killer begins? Or are the folklore tales true after all?

None of this is Maisie's business until her friend Kristi Bentley, the police officer in charge of security that night, gets suspended for not providing adequate protection. As the circumstantial evidence grows against Kristi, Maisie can't help getting involved to clear her best friend.

Book 5- Suite Casualty
Maisie Swenson has seen a lot of strange things in her career as a hotel manager, so when Mr. Dayton insists there are ghosts in his suite, she handles it with her usual aplomb. When he demands that she visit his room to show her the items that have been moved, she suspects the two empty wine bottles and a half empty brandy bottle might be where the "ghosts" come from. ?But to reassure him, she posts a guard outside his room.
In the morning, Mr. Dayton is found dead. With nothing removed from his suite, and no way in, rumors fly around that maybe he really was killed by ghosts after all. Or his own fear of them.
