Description
"Golden Rose" is an urban fiction novel that is fast-paced and will keep you guessing until the very end. Golden is turning 25 years old this year and is self-reflecting about her past and future. She doesn't want to become a self-absorbed addict like her mother or succumb to street life like her father, but the ghosts of the past may catch up with her. Golden wants to be a fashion designer but first must overcome her fear of failure and possibility of success. She must first leave a life of stripping and chasing money if she ever wants to pursue her dream of being a high-profile fashion designer.
Just when Golden gets tangled in a web of prostitution, she is unknowingly saved by her deceased father's right-hand man, LeBaron. He comes into her life without her knowledge, but what Golden doesn't know is that he has been silently watching over her, but never intervening in her life. This unexpected interaction opens another world to Golden that she never knew existed. She uses her skills as a designer to curate a mansion used solely for the purpose of satisfying the desires and fetishes of the wealthy. "Golden Rose" features tropes such as street life, drug use, child abandonment, explicit sexual content, and explicit language.
