Hunter is such a man who lived a remarkable life that was foretold and much anticipated by a secret mystical order. But he was never told of the order's existence or what his role would be in their great plan. He simply lived his life and hoped for the best.

He met with much evil along his path, and only learned of his true purpose near the end.
