Emmet Fox (1886-1951) was a New Thought spiritual leader, author, and lecturer. He was born in Ireland and immigrated to the United States in the early 20th century. Fox was influenced by the teachings of metaphysical and spiritual thinkers such as Ralph Waldo Emerson, Thomas Troward, and Mary Baker Eddy, and he went on to become a prominent figure in the New Thought movement.
Fox served as the minister of the Divine Science Church in New York City, and later founded the Church of the Healing Christ in Los Angeles. He was a prolific writer, and his books and pamphlets continue to be widely read and studied today. Some of his most famous works include "The Sermon on the Mount," "The Ten Commandments," and "The Mental Equivalent."
