Description
Twenty year old Mandie is at a turning point in her life. She is an Afrikaner from South Africa who has travelled to the United States to see her father, a migrant worker on a ranch in rural Texas. She must decide whether to marry Jacque. Since she was thirteen years old, she has been with this South African man. Her family wants her to wed this good man, but she is conflicted and feels that true love should be more intense.
Rod is a young American man of 24 years old who works in West Texas on a sizable project as a cellular tower climber. Mandie and he cross paths in an unlikely situation. They immediately feel a heart connection. The talk of being together forever turns into a plan as they become one very quickly.
However, tragedy intervenes, and these two lovers are left apart. They are not together for an explanation that only one of them fully comprehends. They turn into slaves to the memory of this love affair. Twenty-five years later, Rod is determined to free his heart from the memories of his love for young Mandie.
With the intention of erasing her memory, he rides a Harley across South Africa. But fate brings them together once more. They quickly discover they have always loved each other. Once again, tragedy comes between them, revealing long-buried family secrets. They start to wonder if fate has given them a second chance or if it is just giving their troubled hearts some peace.
