In Book Two of the Legacy of Honor trilogy, Sean McCormick, the son of the Patriarch from Book One, embarks on a journey of physical and moral courage as he is commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant, completes pilot training in 1943, and is sent to England to fly B-17s with the 8th United States Army Air Force in WWII. Along the way, he meets several historical American men, including General LeMay, Jimmy Doolittle, James Stewart, and Glen Miller. Despite the perils of war, Sean finds love and marriage with Ana, a young lady he meets while on leave, and they will have three sons to carry on the family's military legacy.
