Description
A Fortnight in June is a recollection of a time gone by. A time before political correctness had taken hold of our speech and our lives. A time when the internet, CCTV, and mobile phones, hadn't yet taken control of our every movement and life was about having fun and making each other laugh.
A Fortnight in June tells the story of two young friends, who loved living their lives, until an unfortunate twist of fate, stopped their party dead in its tracks and kickstarted the rest of their lives.
A retrospective snapshot of living life in Edinburgh during the 80s - The people, the clothes, the language, the music, the clubs, and the bars - But more importantly, the entwined lives of two close friends, who shared a special bond and friendship.
Their story is a tribute to the kind of friendship, that only some are lucky enough to experience. Scott and Tony's story is an entertaining, sometimes extreme journey, that sees them grow overnight, from boys to men. It's a reminder, that the journey of life is rarely a straight line, and that often the best way to travel that line is with a good and loyal friend by your side.
