Death At Rosevine finds PI Nick Palmer looking into the death of Lady Mary Buchanan, an elderly woman who has been found lifeless on her bathroom floor having fallen from her morning shower. There's a headwound, and blood. He learns that she's hated in her local community, so much so that her beautiful, aristocratic daughter Susan suspects murder.

This isn't the first time someone has died unnaturally on the Rosevine country estate: More than 30 years ago a shy young girl swallowed poison beside a lake, and few weeks later Sir Mark Buchanan shot himself in his study at Rosevine House, only for his body to be discovered by the then 13 year old Susan.
