Description

Rupendre. He grew up surrounded by his parent's billion dollar empire. He and his sisters got whatever they desired, whether it was a trip down the Seine or a visit to Disneyland.

He grew up into a handsome young man much loved by friends and family alike.

The glittering capitals of the wealthy world were his playground.

Yes he was a playboy. He went through women in serial order sometimes even sharing them with his best friend Siddharth.

Siddy and his youngest sister, Marisha were Rupendre's Achilles heels.

Life was a breeze. So good.

Then fate stepped in.

He met the love of his life, Diyali.

Diyali had heard what a womaniser he was. She knew about his loose morals and refused to have anything to do with him. That was the reason she gave him.

Even worse, he woke up one morning to be told his father had accidentally fathered twin children with a small time actress.

The whole house of cards came tumbling down. What happened next??

Diyali. She was the unwanted fifth daughter. Nobody in her home had time for her or her questions or her demands for equality. She was parcelled off to her maternal uncle's home. He also sent her away to a boarding school in Provence.

She was only ten when she saw Rupendre for the first time. He rejected her in support of his little sister, Marisha. .

Diyali saw with her own eyes that he was a womaniser. She never forgot it.

Then she met him again. He fell for her in adulthood. How could she trust that he had changed? He still adored his youngest sister.

Then Diyali's father left her mother.

She knew immediately men were not to be trusted. Ever.
