At dawn, the small seaside village of Whispering Wave buzzes with anticipation -- the day of the dreaded sacrifice to the sea monster Umi-Bozu has arrived. The adventurers' party, known as the Cursebreakers, shares a tense but lively breakfast, savoring the local specialty of savory fish soup. But the real drama begins when the mischievous trio -- Odette, Meddie, and Usagi -- whisk their reluctant friend Henry away to Yukina's room for a drastic makeover. Their goal? To transform him into a "beautiful virgin sacrifice" for the ritual. Yukina unveils a breathtaking white kimono adorned with pink cherry blossom petals -- a pattern whispered to be a bad omen, hinting at fate's cruel hand.

When Henry emerges, even the stoic Gamaken is left speechless. He barely recognizes his friend, stunned by Henry's ethereal beauty. But the moment is shattered when Gamaken, realizing who it is, harshly pushes Henry away, leaving him with a pang of heartbreak. There's no time for lingering disappointment, though, as Thalor, the captain of their ship, leads them to the harbor, the sea breeze thick with tension.

Onboard, Gama and the girls prepare to assist Henry from below deck as Thalor retrieves an ancient, mystical bell. With a heavy toll, the bell calls forth the monstrous Umi-Bozu from the depths. To Henry's shock, the beast's first words aren't of rage but a curious, "Are you the bride?"

It's the Demon Sea King, Seth, wielding a black trident crackling with dark energy. He blocks Henry's attack effortlessly, his grin both mocking and intrigued. Seth reveals his true intentions: he doesn't seek a sacrifice but a bride to rule the sea by his side.

The Cursebreakers launch into battle, blades flashing and spells bursting across the deck. But they are no match for Seth's overwhelming power. Just as hope wanes, Usagi steps forward, offering herself as the Demon Sea King's bride in Henry's place. However, filled with a mix of desperation and resolve, Henry refuses to let her go. He casts a spell of invisibility, pursuing Seth and Usagi to a hidden lair filled with glimmering pirate treasure.

There, they clash once more, but Seth proves too strong yet again. This time, however, Henry makes a shocking declaration -- he will take Usagi's place as the Demon Sea King's bride. Amused and impressed by Henry's resolve, Seth casts an ancient spell, transforming Henry into a shimmering merman, bound for the underwater kingdom.

Meanwhile, back on the surface, Gamaken reels from Henry's disappearance. Determined to rescue him, he seeks out the enigmatic witch, Lorelai, hoping she can grant him the power to follow Henry into the ocean's depths.
