Description

The Grand Palace Casino is going broke. Their solution -- break the golden rule of all gambling establishments and cheat their own customers out of millions of dollars. And all goes according to plan until one of their dealers, Phillip Waldon, turns up dead.

The police rule it an accidental drowning following a drug overdose, but Crystal Moor, the deceased man's ex-lover, thinks otherwise. She takes the case to Private Investigator Seth Bristol, and now it's up to him to discover the truth.

Following the clues the cops missed, Seth infiltrates an elaborate scheme to defraud the casino's rich clientele via their high-stakes private poker games. The casino managers are desperate to keep this hidden, and will do whatever it takes to thwart Bristol and the authorities. But above all else, they must hide what really happened to Phillip Waldon.
