Description

Dripping with today's divisive social and political animosities.
The dismembered corpse of a woman is found outside London. Days later and with no apparent connection, private investigator Tammy Pierre is called upon by her former Police Chief Inspector to investigate the politically sensitive disappearance of the wife of billionaire politician, Oscar Mountford, who's in line to become Britain's new Chancellor of the Exchequer.

We learn early on that he's a far-right extremist involved in a plot to take over the UK government and coordinate with like-minded extremists in the US and European governments. Although pregnant, Tammy follows leads that take her inside Mountford's family and across the Atlantic as bodies begin to pile up.

Can she make the connections to unravel the conspiracy and avoid becoming the next victim?

"Andrew Segal's The Politician's Wife is a masterclass in weaving intrigue, emotion, and raw human experience. Every page pulls you deeper into the intricate lives of its characters and leaves you both pondering and eagerly turning to the next chapter. A truly gripping read that resonates long after the final page is turned."
-- Kenneth Kufeji, B.Sc. Computer Science & Accounting, MBA

"A gripping, witty tale that kept me on the edge of my seat throughout. Interesting and challenging - indeed at times disturbing - the characters are fascinating. Particularly Andrew Segal's heroine, Tammy, is brought to life, as are all the characters that interact to deliver an exciting plot. Takes the reader on a journey through the complexity of extremism, relationships, and human emotions - with a number of surprises along the way. A great read."
-- Jasper de Q Adams, Retired Army Officer / Security Consultant

"I have read most of Andrew Segal's books and I have very much enjoyed them all. Once I started reading The Politician's Wife, I found it hard to put down. I have no idea where Andrew gets his ideas from, but they make an intriguing story with fascinating characters and twists that you're not expecting. I'm definitely a fan and would suggest that if you like a captivating plot, you should read his books."
