Description
Tomeka 'Meek' Cooper is a 21-year-old college student who has had it hard since she was a small child. After growing up with parents who both had self-destructive habits, Tomeka doesn't believe life can get much worse. Ever the optimist despite her circumstances, she believes she has her life planned out until she has a bad run in with Tony 'Cash' Gainer, Atlanta's hottest new club owner, and his wife, Zhykiryua 'Kyra' Gainer.
Making it big is the most important thing to Cash. Besides Kyra, no other female has ever been able to make Tony settle down, and Kyra, well aware of her position in his life, dares any female to run up on her about him. They believe they're locked in, but when Kyra sparks a confrontation with Tomeka, she realizes she may have bitten off more than she can chew, and Tony finds himself enamored by the woman his wife has declared her sworn enemy.
With unsuspecting rivals already trying to steal his position in the entertainment and drug industries, Tony has to decide whether he's willing to risk his marriage for a hurt and battered young Tomeka or if he should walk away, causing him to teeter on the edge of insanity. Despite his undeniable attraction to Tomeka, Kyra refuses to be outdone, but when she conspires with some of Tomeka's oldest adversaries, the one secret Kyra has worked so hard to keep under wraps finds itself on the verge of being exposed, and Kyra soon learns that the enemy of her enemy is not always her friend.
