"How to Win Admissions and Influence Visa Officers" is meant to help the growing community of students who plan to study in key international destinations for higher education, and are at different stages of the application process. About the Author: Author is an IIT (Indian Institute of Technology-BHU) graduate currently engaged in overseas education counseling and consulting enterprise. After a first-class degree in engineering, he worked as a technical service engineer for a few big and medium-sized companies in India. This included marketing industrial consumables in virgin territories, which gave him hands-on technical sales experience as well. Subsequently, he relocated overseas (USA) in search of better opportunities. After a couple of brief stints in Southern California and New York, he returned to India and, in 2010, formally set up his own global higher education counseling and consulting venture which is going strong for the last 14 years now. Besides being a certified career counselor, he is currently pursuing a Law degree with specialization in immigration law in addition to civil and criminal law studies. The author is also a content and creative writer on diverse subjects, and hence, he is proficient in guiding students to write impactful 'Statement of Purpose', which ensures high success rate in admissions and study-permit processes. His unique, one-of-its-kind two-page persuasive appeals to the officers of IRCC, Government of Canada, have enabled many students to secure study-permit, who were earlier refused by the Canadian government. He is also the founder of an Edtech startup company, ATPL (abbrev.), which is recognized by the 'Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade,' Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. The startup is working in the 'Education' industry and 'Others' sector.
