Description
Lucille Barker was on her way to work when she knew something was wrong with her car. The steering wheel was extremely hard to turn and then she felt the passenger's side start to droop and pull to the left. On top of everything else, it was raining! She quickly pulled over to the side of the road, put up her umbrella and walked around to the passenger's side to investigate.
She had a flat tire! She remembered her boss threatening her that if she was late one more time, he would fire her. As she stood there and worried, she heard a car pull up behind her. An elegantly dressed man who looked every bit the professional came to her aid. After introductions were made, he got out his cell phone and called for his car maintenance people to come and assist. As they continued to talk, she explained that she would probably lose her job. He asked what kind of work she did and advised her that the hospital could always use another secretary or someone who could do data entry work.
After being fired at work, she bravely held her head up high knowing that she could put her application in at the hospital and hopefully get hired right away. She can't stop thinking about Dr. Lee Fulton and his kindness. Little does she know, he continues to think about the pretty young lady he met on his way to work!
