Description

The Red Sea Road to Sinai is about overcoming abuse, trauma, and bondage with God's Word. The trials and triumphs of Cate's journey parallel the journey of the Israelites who were liberated from bondage in Egypt. Cate was trapped in a web of domestic and sexual abuse, anorexia, and depression so insidious that it enlisted the mental health and family court system to completely destroy her sense of self, worth and purpose. Cate was also hospitalized and subjected to Electro-Convulsive 'Therapy'. However, this was not the end of the story. After six hospitalizations, four suicide attempts, and two decades of prescription medication for depression and anxiety - Cate's life was miraculously transformed. By God's mighty hand and His Word, Cate was liberated from a situation that many would not have survived - a situation that perpetuated illness and mental anguish. The cost she paid was enormous! As God had liberated and shepherded the Israelites on their journey from the Red Sea to Mount Sinai, so He liberated and shepherded Cate out of bondage and to the very same destination - Mount Sinai. It was there, in 2023, that she married and witnessed astonishing miracles at God's holy mountain.
