Description
Southern Free Zone, France, 1940
Jacques Dubois is recruited from prison to lead a police militia against the fledgling Resistance. As the Nazis slowly take control of all of France, the people come to understand the nature of life under Vichy rule. As guns are moved and sides taken, Dubois increasingly discovers that his own freedom is not what it first appears. He must choose between his belief in the rule of law and his belief in justice.
