Our art festival is my favorite time of year and it's when I make most of my money for my little designing company along with networking for my new business. In three months I think I'll have enough for a little storefront in town. So I've got a lot riding on this festival.
Unfortunately that doesn't matter to Reginald Hawks. He's bound and determined to take over my spot at the festival because he needs more space.
Too bad so sad Mr. Grumpy Mountain Man. I paid for my spot fair and square so stuff it. They guy's the most annoying man I've ever met in my life.
But his moss green eyes are so dark and sad that it breaks my heart. Why does he hide away up that mountain? What's he hiding from?
Why do I spend all my waking minutes worrying about him instead of my new business and how hard it's going to be to get everything open?

She's so dang pretty though that my mind goes blank every time she smiles at everybody but me. For me she's got nothing but snappy comebacks and glares that just make me want to laugh.
I don't want to think she's more than what she is but for some reason she's in my every thought. What can I do to get her out of my head? And maybe my heart?
