Everyone at Ryder High knows what it means to have a teal envelope taped to their locker on the first day of the month.

Harper Kennedy is used to being around boys. Her father is the coach of the lacrosse team, and she grew up on the sidelines. So when she finds out she has a secret admirer, she's shocked, but excited.

After getting the envelope, more boys appear in her life and decide to be her new bodyguards -- a few lacrosse players and Ryder High's 'bad boys.'

But in order to do that, they have to learn a new skill -- American Sign Language. It's necessary to communicate with Harper, who is Deaf.

Harper starts getting letters from her admirer with hints of his identity, and a wordsearch to solve with each letter. The only problem? There's no word bank to choose from...
